17 years!!

Yesterday was our 17 year wedding anniversary!! I can not belive how fast time is flying! seems like yesterday we got married, I love Doug even more today then the day we got married, we have gone threw so much together and i am so lucky to have found my soulmate. He is such a good father, provider and most of all my best friend! I love you Babe!! Here are some random pictures threw the years!!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!

Friday Haden went to school cause all the 7Th graders get to go a day without all the other grades to give them a chance to get used to the school and lockers and stuff. So today was the first day for Tyler and Josh. Tyler was the only one that would let me take a picture of him for the 1st day of school photo ( i have been taking one every year since they started school). It is very sad that he is the only one left. Usually on the 1st day of school i will take them and make sure they get to their class OK and whatever, well Tyler just wanted to take the bus. Now we usually go to the school beforehand and check out where the class is and stuff, we didn't have time to do that this year. So I was kind of worried about Tyler going without even knowing where to go. Well he seemed to do just fine without me! My kids are growing up way too fast!!
Since Haden was home today we decided to go to lunch. He decided he wanted to go to JCW's. On the way there he wanted to invite Michael and Carter (his cousins who he knew both didn't have school today either.) Michael is going into 7Th grade also and Carter is going into Kindergarten. So we had a nice lunch with them and Melissa. Tomorrow will officially be my first day of school with no kids!! yeah! Anyone want to do lunch??

1. Did you date someone from your school? Yeah a couple
2. What kind of car did you drive? 1985 Honda Accord, loved that car!!
4. Were you a party animal? Maybe a little bit, didn't really turn into a party animal until College!
5. Were you considered a flirt? I have been told I was, but I never really tried to be!
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Nope
7. Were you a nerd? No, I believe you had to be smart to be a nerd and attend all your classes, I was far from that!!
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Nope! I was on JV cross country team until they told me I had to either be on the varsity team or no team at all, I chose no team, I didn't want to run that much, and all of my friends were on the JV team!!
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Never!
10. Can you still sing the fight song? Well I know the tune, and a few of the lines, but i really don't know the whole song!
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mr.Hinman, English, and Mr. Jolley, science, not because i liked those subjects, just because they were really cool teachers!!
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Well we had a open campus, so anywhere from my house, to MC Donald's, to Thrifty ice cream ( probably the favorite)

14. School mascot? Indians
15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Yes, with Brad
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Probably not, but if i did, i would probably do things differently!
17. What do you remember most about graduation? Being stressed out on how to wear my cap with those big ole bangs of mine!!
18. Where did you go senior skip day? I am pretty sure we went to the beach!Although almost every day was senior skip day with me!!
19. Were you in any clubs? No
20. Have you gained some weight since then? Oh, PLEASE,I only weighed like 95 pounds when i graduated!!
21. Who was your prom date? Brad Again, i know, i sure wasted a lot of those dances with him!!
22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I did, and i also just went to the 20 year one, they are fun to me!

MULLIGAN

Almost every year Doug's brother Scott invites Doug to play with him in a big tournament that they have over at Riverside Country Club. It is kind of expensive to play in, but they get to play a lot of golf and eat a lot of food! It starts on a Wednesday and ends that Sunday. The actual tournament is Friday and Saturday. They have a ton of closest to the hole prizes and hole in one prizes. Every year i tell him you have to win something good, he usually will win a golf shirt or occasionally he will win a set of irons or something that means nothing to me, Well this year he won 1st place closest to the hole prize, He won a 37 inch flat screen TV! I was so excited! I am sure he would much rather have new golf clubs, but the family was really happy about his winnings! He did win about $100 at the pro shop, but i always tease him that he can maybe buy a pair of socks with that( it is always so expensive there!) They also gave out tee box gifts, this year they gave a pair of Oakley sunglasses, and Doug is such a sweetheart, when they asked him what kind of style he wanted, he asked them which one looks the most like women's sunglasses? The girls looked at him kind of weird and he told them I want to give them to my wife, they were all, that is the nicest thing ever, I think you may be the only one to think of your wife! I am such a lucky girl, I have a great husband and an awesome pair of sunglasses!! Thanks baby!

BIRTHDAY PRESENT FROM GRANDPA!

A couple days after Josh's birthday, Doug's parents stopped by to give Josh a present, they wanted to make sure an adult was home when they came by, I thought that is kind of strange. Well they came over with a brand new Ducks Unlimited shotgun for Josh's birthday! I guess Grandpa has been saving it for when he got old enough. I guess he figures Josh is old enough now, That scares me! I guess we need to get him into hunters safety so he can start going on the hunting trips with Doug and all the other Fillmore's. It makes me really nervous, but i guess if he takes hunters safety, hopefully he will be very careful!!
